is a 16 year old photographer living in Los Angeles, California. She strives to illuminate the beauty in everyone and everything she sees through her photographs, creating art to help others see the way she does. She takes inspiration from people like Annie Leibovitz and Herb Ritts, as well as her young contemporaries making names for themselves and trailblazing paths for other young photographers. Maya hopes to go to school somewhere un-riddled with politicians trying to control her body, and work in Fashion and Editorial for publications such as Vogue and Interview magazine. Her biggest fear is not leaving an impact.
